Is there any way to flip a toggle that would allow each post in a thread to display at least the date for which it was posted?
I don't get here often, and having such a feature would give me a better idea of the development of each particular thread. A time stamp along with the date would even be better IMO, but hey, I'm probably stretching capabilities anyway.
Looking good!

Joe, your message says "6 April 06, 09:21 AM (09:21)"
That is in my local time. That's not what you are looking for?

shucks,
you beat me :-)
Yep, it's already there. Sorry.
I was hoping I could delete the evidence of my ignorance !!
Either that or compliment for taking me so seriously :-)

Hey, Joe. Good to see you.
Have you tried the three different views available? I've settled on the hybrid view. It's the closest to the view I used in the old software. I still have to open each thread to see who is participating and who has posted what since I was last visited and I often miss the hot spots, but once I open a thread, it gives me the structure and all the posts loaded at once so I can scroll through them. The little squares next to each post in the thread structure show me which ones are new since last time I opened that thread. If people use the "quote" or "reply" buttons on the post to which they are responding, their post is appropriately entered into the structure and I can zero in on subthreads for long threads by clicking on the first post in that subthread.
Does that make sense? Probably not, but I gotta get out of here so I'll post and run.
Hope to see much of you here as you have opportunity.
Marsha

... evidence of "ignorance" ... since it's rather small at the top of the message, perhaps it's evidence of need of an eyecheck ... or glasses ... rather than ignorance, as you suggested. ;)
Welcome back, BTW ... now I'll be running ... running ... running ... :basic05
... or perhaps you're not as sensitive as some might be about a suggestion that some particular physical feature might need to be checked, eh? [thinking of someone who suggests I've said strange things ... can blast me right out of the house, practically, with a loud TV or radio ... who refuses to have her ears checked!]
