Hello all
Since leaving the states in 2000, my wife Patricia has really missed our Sunday treat of eating a good bagel with a cream cheese spread. Problem is here in the Netherlands, we cant get bagels anywhere...
Does anyone perhaps have a good recipe, or a website where we could find a good recipe? It would be really great if anyone of you could help us out!
Thanks a lot
Garth

I haven't tried any of these recipes, but you can find many bagel recipes at:

I hope you find something that sounds good to you.

... accompanied by a little story & quote re eating bagels. ;)
Also, it has variations of making them sweet or salty.
Never tho't of making them, but this sounds like something I might like to try!
Thanks for giving us the idea. Some we buy are OK, others, well ......

'just noticed commentary below the recipe, too ... sounds like someone's made them, and they're the "chewy" variety ... interesting-sounding recipe.
EDITED to add: Oh, my goodness! Here's a site with gobs of bagel recipes [50+!] ... dogpile.com search engine comes up with tons of things, it seems:
