... from English to French (& have printed since that recovery I did several days ago).
Also, besides its suddenly showing up with instructions in French, when I saw that the "fax" was highlighted rather than the "printer," I recalled hearing what seemed to be a fax attempt starting, but none came through.
So, then I decided it might be doing its occasional "report" deal where it spits something out re its recent activit(y/ies). Nope.
With the language change, and having not even told it when reinstalling with the CD since recovery to add anything but English, that worries me a bit ... as in, did someone remotely put something on here that also affected the printer b/c it originated in a French-speaking place? Or, did someone try to send a French-language fax that never made it through to what would be a wrong #, anyway? But that should not change the instructions that appear when using the printer. Ugh! ... again .......
