On Thursday evening, a bunch of our youth got together at a local school to shoot hoops and play some Boci Ball. When the sun went down and it became difficult to see the basketball net or the little white Boci, we called the sports activities and headed back to our living-room for a viewing of Chronicles of Narnia (TLTW&TW). Mark brought a projector, Peter brought the movie DVD, bags of chips and some cold drinks, GJ (my son) hooked the projector to his DVD player and ghetto blaster, and we showed the movie on one of our larger living-room walls.
The sound was really good, and the picture large enough to appreciate even the "large", panoramic scenes. We packed four NazNetters (Mark, Alicia, Peter and Gord) and another eight or ten people into the room and enjoyed the show.
About half-way through, we decided it was time for a NazNet photo-op, so we took a break, got out the sign and the camera, and below is the result! ;-) Alicia is our pastor's daughter ... she hasn't posted much, recently, but we insisted she be a part of this photo. Mark is doing his best to keep her still in the picture, while Peter's knee is providing a head-rest for her. I'm the official "Holder of the Sign".
