I haven't used Nazmail for some time. I have been having my mail forwarded to jlmerrill73@yahoo.com. Now I have forgotten my Nazmail password and there doesn't appear to be a way to retrieve it. So it will probably go dormant sometime. I have been having a lot of trouble with my DSL provider. I may be switching to cable in the future. So I don't know how long I will be using my iowatelecom address either.

Oops! Just mentioned on Wesley how sites usually have a question when signing up that will verify it's you, so they can resend your password. Now, I realize you said already there doesn't seem to be a way to retrieve it.
Well, they might not ask, "forgot your password?" with a place to click like some sites, but if you forgot how to contact the "real people" there, think it's just plain old "support (not webmaster, whatever) @ nazmail.com" ... ask them if they asked people for later ID verification in case needed for password when signing up, etc ................... If they didn't ask us all when we signed up for later password forgetfulness, they goofed! :(

Yep, most sites do. Can't find it on Nazmail. I don't need 3 email addresses anyway. They changed Nazmail some months ago so that I have to log on to even see if I have mail. I don't have time for that. I can't have my computer save my log on anymore. I like how Yahoo does it. I can see if I have mail before I log on. I just wish Yahoo would get a better spam filter like Nazmail has. I'm tired of Nigerian lawyers asking for my bank account number and if I wanted to buy Viagra I wouldn't buy it from a spammer.

Yahoo's suddenly letting more spam through the last several weeks or more ... unless they still have only a certain number of allowed blocked addresses to the "Inbox" before things come through to the inbox again, tho' they've had that new "SPAM" you can check after marking emails there. Used to be I'd not find spam in my inbox, but lately I, too, have been finding a lot of spam ... so rather than just reading mail I have to browse the list, check what looks like "spam," wait [emphasis on "wait!"] for it to rid itself of the spam, and then I can read. Wonder if they're getting so creative in their "from" addresses that they're not so easily detected as spam ... ?? If so, this would happen in just about any mailbox anymore. :(
EDIT: Beginning to think it really doesn't matter which site we receive emails at ... we're not going to be exempt from spam in our main "inbox" anymore, eh?
BTW, since you said there's no place on nazmail to click re password, try that "support@nazmail.com" addy ... they might answer ... tho' they seem to be a bit slow ... nazmail is most likely a sideline, rather than anyone's main job. ;)

I don't think Yahoo tries very hard to filter out spam. I got very little spam from Nazmail and I almost never get spam from Mozilla Thunderbird. I would like to get rid of Yahoo but I've had it for years and I have everything registered through Yahoo. I like to keep one address just for family and friends and another address for everything else. I idea was that I could always change the second address if I got too much spam and not have to inconvenience my friends and relatives, but that hasn't worked out like I thought it would. I tried juno for a while when I first got my computer. They are the worst about spyware. Then I tried hotmail. I had trouble getting on there a lot. It seemed like their site was down a lot.

Nazmail has even started getting spam, unlike it was for a long time. It's usually gone into the "spam" box tho' ... so far ... but then, too, I've found a thing or two that didn't belong there, so was good I checked before emptying it. ;)
