Here is a news video about a ministry of a CotN outside Philly (Cornerstone Family Church, a CotN (http://www.limerickcornerstone.org/)). It's a "give and take" thrift shop where everything is free.

Paul Thornhill is a good friend of mine, is a very creative pastor, and this is a very exciting aspect of their church plant in Limerick. Some may know his son Dave, who pastors in the Kansas City area.

I love the idea. I think that's the way it should be. Our own little church does something very similar with a free clothing room open to anyone. It's advertised in our local paper. Some people drop off clothing, others gratefully receive it. Then we have an annual "Pay What You Can" yard sale; which is really an excuse for a neighborhood block party. Lots of great fun.

Jeremy,

Here is a link to the store/church. http://www.limerickcornerstone.org/GiveTakeStore.dsp A store like this would be of great benefit to our East Arlington community. We are going to contact them and hopefully find out more information about how the store is managed. Thanks for posting the story.

Blessings,

Cynthia
