The pastor's young kitten climbed up into the top of a young tree but then was afraid to come down so the pastor tried to coax the kitten down with milk, food etc. but without success. So he thought if I can somehow bend the tree over far enough then I can reach up and get it down with my hands. He hooked a rope to the back of his car and tied the other end as high in the tree as he could reach. Pulling the car a ways he stopped to see if he could reach the kitten but could not so he pulled the car a little bit more but the rope snapped and the whiplash of the tree sent the cat flying.
He felt bad and went all over the neighborhood asking everyone if they had seen his kitten without success. A few days later he went to the grocery store and who should he meet there but the #1 cat hater in his congregation. But a glance into her shopping cart revealed a package of cat food. He started to ask her how this could be but she had to tell him of their miracle. Her daughter had been asking for a kitten for some while and finally she told her daughter that if God sent a kitten she could keep it. The little girl went into her backyard and prayed for a kitten and out of the clear blue a kitten came sailing from beyond the fence landing right in front of the little girl.
Tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor. If we were created in His image He would have to have one.
