A couple was team teaching a primary age Sunday School class, and had just concluded a six week series on Grace and Forgiveness. Wanting to review, and hoping to find that some little bit of truth had sunk in, they began asking questions.
"If I gave a million dollars to the church, would that get me into heaven?"
"NO," was the answer in unison.
"If I worked real hard, and did my best all of my life, would that get me in?"
"No way!", the kids responded.
"How about if I helped lots of poor people, and was nice to everyone?"
"Nope," they said.
"Then how do I get into heaven?", he asked.
Finally one little boy said, "Well, first, you need to be dead." :smilies1722:
I guess we sometimes leave out that part.
