Figuring out the male mind - seriously. There's a story or two in my answer....but so often within those two stories I have had to ask God to explain things to me.

Rest is hard when you are a middle-aged woman working a difficult job. I could not have done it this year without Christ! One thing I have learned this past year is the meaning of Sabbath Rest. It is more than going to church on Sunday. It is taking a day to rest guilt free. And then as I resting realizing that this is a foretaste of the rest that I will receive in heaven. It is a rest from emotional labors as God heals me of the wounds of the past that have dragged me down. It is spritual rest as God heals me of 13 forms of religious guilt.
