Because of so many reports of identity theft these days, I check our (meager) bank balances EVERY morning - on line.

Does anyone else do that? On a daily basis?

I am delighted I now have the ability - and interest - in checking those important (to us) items.

'Would probably check daily (tho' I only pay one bill on-line, accounts might be available for hacking, even if *WE* ourselves did not use them, since much is done between banks on-line, no?), if I were not on dial-up. Tell ya ... this is getting to me more & more, but there's so much "fine print" regarding DSL, etc .......

Someone suggested some "air card," but reading up on those indicated they're averaging something like $60/month, up to about $80/month or more. "Cheap" was something like $45-50/month ... worse than DSL.

Not sure what I'll end up doing yet ... but this dial-up's "gotta go" before I "go" crazy with it. ;)
