Stephen Hawking's faith

Could anyone direct me to any information concerning Hawking's faith? Does he express belief in some type of god?

Barbara, It may take me a while to find the exact source, but there is documentary produced for PBS called (I think this is the source) Brilliant Minds. In it Hawking refers to a higher power/intelligence. Another possible source that may be helpful is his book titled A Brief History of Time. There is also a theoretical physicist by the name of Machio Kaku that has done some biographical work on physicists like Hawking, Einstein, and others. I'll not have a chance to look for more specific details until the end of the day, but I'll see what I can find. brh
