Changes in Africa Region

We just received our e-newsletter from the Africa Region. J. Fred Huff is stepping down as regional director, and Eugenio Duarte is in the process of being elected. He is an African, born in Cape Verde, and has been serving as Field Director for both the French Equatorial and Africa West Fields.

I believe this is the first African to hold this important post. We need to pray for him and for the Huffs during this transition.

i don't know the name of Eugenio Duarte. The added information you gave about him is as important as just announcing his appointment.
