I have had the most amazing day...

I can't tell all the details yet.

But I am going on another trip!!

I can't believe it - it was never expected.

My boss gave me the nodd for time off - holiday time.

She even gave me time off for family camp up here in Pefferlaw.

Look out everyone (You know who you are) - I am coming up for a few days!
(Not sure where to put my tent up yet!) :p


This has just been the most amazing night. I get to see someone and time off and not pay!

Friday July 28th to Sunday August 6th. Services are usually at 10 AM and 7 PM. Friday night there will be a service. I can get the actuall times from the District Office. See you there. We could have a NazNet meeting...Gord, Mark, Marilyn, Marg Shirtliff, me, you...did I miss anyone?:basic07

I found on for $129 - 3 room tent, good size for future use!!!

I got the word from my boss - I got all the time I wanted off.

I will probaly come up for part of the weekend and I need to be back for work on Monday.

Who do I talk to about putting up my tent and where can I put it up?

I need to stay in town until court is finished.

For the Wonderland tickets I visited www.ticket master.ca, or you can call them. The number is on the www.lifeonline.fm site under concerts.
I am sure Peter would let you set up yur tent on his site. maybe... I dont think he is using it this year. not sure.

I have to call the DS today about the campgrounds. That friend of mine, Kiflum wants to run the camp. Do you want to be on the new camp board with Tracy and I?

I am not sure the camp needs a board, but if there is one, YES, I would love to be on it.

If the camp were to hire a manager, he/she should have a staff and the manager should report to the district board, not a camp board. This is just my opinion.:rolleyes:

What I want to know of the DS is whether he will entertain the idea of leasing the camp to Kiflum for 25yrs. and having him take it over under a contract set out by the DS.
We will be putting a proposal together this week for consideration by the DS before Dist. Assembly. After the vote June 13 we will know better.

I picked up a 3 room tent for 129 and a sleeping bag as well.

Now I just have to find a way to get all my stuff up to the camp grounds!

The teens are responsible for buying their own tickets. We have the rides ready for them. Some are only going to the concert, while others will make a day of it.

Mark, Myself and our NYI pres are driving. Mark has room for one he says!

Because there has been no 'committment' and we are trying to get the kids to run their own youth group, we have left it up to them to buy their own tickets. So they are all calling the ticketmaster or wherever it is to get their own tickets. So they are not saving the 55%.

So you might as well call for your own.
