I saw those headlines too. Weekly World News. Sometimes I pick one up at WalMart just to embarrass my wife.
I actually purchased one once. It was in the fall of 1999 and contained week by week predictions of all the disasters that were to take place in 2000 culminating in the end of the world on Jan 1, 2001. I kept it through the year and, of course, every prediction was dead wrong.
