they say could number over a million. They track them, and just in a small portion of Lake Okeechobee, they spotted 754!
Alligators can grow to 14 ft long and up to 1000 lbs. Imagine wrestling one that size! But, their brain is about the size of a man's thumb.
Its hard counting them. They mostly do it at night, because their eyes reflect the light. When the gator sees the light and as they get older, they associate it with people and sink in the water.
Hey, anybody for a little gator hunting?

For a minute I thought you were talking about football and Naznet has a policy against profanity. (-:

A friend sent me this...

Yesterday's USA TODAY had an article about the recovery in number of alligators over the last 20 years in Florida. Experts estimate there are 1,000,000 of them. The gators are getting bolder and more human encounters are occuring.

Here is one solution for three problems:

1. Forget a wall. Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
2. Use the dirt to raise the levees in New Orleans.
3. Put the Florida alligators into the moat.
