I have posted some more Africa photos. They are not necessarily the "best" of my pictures, but they will give one an overall impression of our trip.
I have more than 7,000 photos. I selected about 300 to share; however, the software limits me to 100. I will add two more albums when I get some time.
Here is the first of three albums:

Thanks so much for the pictures. It must be so amazing to be so close to the animals.
I have a little help for captioning your photos. Rev. Stanton spells his name Daryll, and his wife is Verna. I think the Mr. Reed you are pictured with is Rod Reed, who was at our NMI convention last year, but he looks older in this picture, so I'm not absolutely sure it's him.
Here's a picture of Rod Reed with Edna Lochner, my boss. He's from our district.

Great pictures! Made me wish to be there again.
Did you hear/see a fish eagle? My favorite African bird.

I saw dozens, maybe hundreds, of fish eagles. Yes, I have some pictures. I will include at least one in the other albums I post in the near future.
The fish eagle doesn't seem to be endangered in Botswana. They were in every tree along the Choibi River.

Write-up and pics of fish eagle. Some Africans treasure it as we do the Bald Eagle.

When we were in South Africa last year, we saw a Fish Eagle in my sister's garden in the Pinetown area in Natal. Apparently it had prayed on a neighbour's puppy and unfortunatly the puppy didn't survive. It was an awsome sight to see the bird sweeping down from the trees looking for it's prey.

Because of the apparent interest in fish eagles, I will post a few pictures of fish eagles. One can certainly see why people find them interesting.

As we know you - we see that again - you are a good photographer. I like your photos too.
On the other side - they will refresh memories about homeless little children, helpless lonely mothers, "homeless" menm, do not know what a healthy family will be, "married" to four or five or more women (totally tidy relations, basing only on mens sigh to have fun, not what a family really needs), spiritism and spiritism and again spiritism - the horrible darkness of the socalled "nature religions" - including children and woman offers like the ancient Moloch cult -

What I most liked have been the mighty nets of bird eating spiders - often spread between two trees - and to look through made the impression to see a foggy landscape. Then the "flying dogs", hanging like fuits in the trees as long daylight was - sleeping. The wart pigs - running around by a stiff erected tail - always nose on earth - looking like "Where I lost my keys?" Wart pigs do not have enemies, only in rare cases they are attacked by lions - because their strong teeth. Lions do attack wart pigs only once they are extreme hungry.
What I did not like - a sord of apes, entered cars and homes and took off all movable things we can think to. Very aggressive.
And i did not like Hyenas - they do look so ugly - and they will have really bad manners.
Lions and Hyenas do stink - extreme - meat eaters do smell not good.

Cheetas are very shy. I only one times have seen one on a tree - just for seconds before it disappeared in the bushes.

My brother-in-law did a lot of game hunting around the world.
I asked him one day about the Cheetah. He indicated that the Cheetah is not considered a 'game' animal by a lot of 'big game hunters'. Thus he had none of those in his 'animal collection'.
Cheetah are beautiful.
Again, thanks for sharing your pictures, Dave.

Cheetahs are beautifull - indeed - very elegant motions, elastic.

One morning we were observing animals in Kruger. There were two young cheetah playing beside the road. We parked and watched as they would run in one direction with one chasing the other. Then they would run back switching the 'it'. Our own private performance. Of course, the camera wasn't working!

Ha, ha! I returned from Africa and visited with my family the Berlin Zoo - just to see Cheetahs. They are fascinating. Once they run, it looks like gliding, nearby like flying - a powerfull harmony in all motions.

Beautiful! I had to look at them full -sized to see them properly . It was like a personal safari to Africa. Thanks for the trip !
I have seen photos of ANU but never realized it was actually as big as it is . No wonder it took so many teams of W& W to help build.
Thanks again .
