Once again God graced us with a powerful manifestation of Hiis Spirit. We can never God out of His presence for He fully fills every square inch of this universe with Himself, but we are not always where we need to be in Him to sense His presence. Today God left no doubt that He was present during our SS and worship of Him. What a neat ting it is to hear people talk about how they sensed God with them, including in worship and can tell you why---not just some empty statement.
I'm so thankful that the church is not a group of people or a single person, but that the church is God's. No matter what a cong. faces, nothing they face, for for that matter, nothing we face as individuals, is bigger than God.
God said He wold build His church. Jesus said as long as He is lifted up, He would draw ALL people to Him. He said He would be with us always as long as we are about the Great Commission (if we read that promise in its biblical context), on on He goes. My primary spiritual gift is faith, along with its supporting gifts of exhortation, wisdom, leadership. I get such a sense of Him when I think about who He is and the promises He as made to us. There really is nothing He cannot do, and He is so willing to do so much more than we can begin to ask or think.
What a great day! That God for making His presence deeply known to us today!
