What a precious painting. I am currently reading a small book, HOlding Heavenby Jerry B. Jenkins, that is a monologue of Joseph talking to baby Jesus.

It is fiction, but very precious...just like this painting.

I have a plate with that picture on it. I purchased it at Hobby Lobby actually. It hangs in my kitchen where I can see it often.

Hobby Lobby is owned by Christian people and many items in their store reflect Christian values. The one in Hermitage, TN is always playing Christian music. There website has this information. http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/company/statement.htm

Also, each year at Christmas and Easter, instead of inserting their normal "sales flyer" into the newspaper, they insert a Holiday Message. They are usually quite powerful. See this area of their website for samples from the past. http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/ministry/message.cfm Christmas 2003 was the insert that included this painting you have a link too here. Each holiday "ad" includes a statement about what to do if you want to be saved.

Oh, Gina, I did not catch that there were 3 nails on the floor. Wow....what message in that painting, and I missed it.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Did you catch the shape of His shadow? and the halo above his head?

Oh, wow ... a cross! 'Missed the halo, too ... and I've seen it before, but didn't look good this time, I guess.

When do you think He started wearing seamless garments?

I have never seen this picture before. I must have it.
Our District Prime Timers took a motorcoach trip to Pigeon Forge last year.
One of the shows we saw was "Celebrate America" at the Governor's Palace Theater.
It was wonderful!
The theater was a gift from the owners of Hobby Lobby who at that time were Nazarenes.
This year we are going back to see "Fixin' 2 Rain", a story of Noah.
I can't wait!
