I have too much down time recuperating..found some photos of the Columbia River Gorge..georgous..when i took these it the sky was falling. It was pouring rain..you can note the rain on my lens..made an interesting filter

WONDERFUL, JUDY! Might just use one of those for awhile for wallpaper! Every once in a great while, I'll switch mine. Thanks sooo much ... you're quite the photographer, girl! ;)

[edited to add: You see, wallpapering my screen is new to me. Even now sometimes I wonder if I could better use some of that memory that's wallpapering this thing. It's only been since last fall that I've had 512MB rather than 63MB of memory. ;)]

Great picture. Thanks for the memories.
When we went there about 7 years ago with a friend from Portland, it was a rainy day.
We managed to get a few pictures, even in the rain.
We took a lunch, which was eaten in the car as we waited in the parking lot for the rain to ease up.
