to me documents, and then go in and try to send it by email, it will not open it, "needs to know what program was used to save this" comes up. What am I doing wrong?

Are you saving using the file menu under your web browser? I have found anyway to use the bulletin board software to save directly.

So when you use "save as" under your web browser you probably have to supply the file extension like "html". If you switch to printable version, the web page you save will look pretty clean and contain most of the thread.

So if you type "a.html" and not just "a" in the file browser, your computer will know to open the file with your web browser. If you leave off the extension, you will need to do a right-click, and then select "open with" and then choose your web browser.
