The following are some photos that Matt has taken as part of his college photography class. These are from 35mm black and white photos he took and developed in the ENC darkroom. He sent them to us and I've scanned them.

We think he has a future in the photography field.

I really like this one. I love black and white photography. I am an artist and black and white is somehow more artistic although there is nothing wrong with color. You become much more aware of texture, light and shape with black and white. I have a darkroom but it is not set up right now. I just don't seem to have time anymore. You can do so much with black and white in the darkroom. Most people don't know that black and white photographs are MUCH more permanent than color. The problem is that very few commercial photo labs do a good job with color. They don't do enough of it. You can do such a better job in a darkroom.

Can you change that pic of fisherman into color with some fall colors in the trees with a computer program? Thats a super picture!
