It is time for me to once again review rule #6.
When a person registers on NazNet, they agree to abide by the rules. One of those rules is, "
Don't get offended if the moderator decides to remove your post. He has the right to do so for any reason or no reason at all."
I am the one who pays the bills for NazNet; therefore, I get to define the rules. I have attempted to make them fair and simple; however, they are not open for debate. If one doesn't like the rules, he or she doesn't have to register. No one is forcing participation on NazNet.
When one moderator deletes a post, no other moderator is going to second guess the decision. In the interest of openness, I will tell you that we often discuss such decisions among ourselves. We might even have differences of opinion in private, but no moderator will fault another's decision in public.
Posts complaining about a moderator's decision violate the spirit and the letter of the rules. If a moderator deletes your post, get on with it. It really isn't a big deal. There have been times when another moderator deleted my post. While I didn't agree, I accepted the deletion with grace.
Rule 6 is not negotiable. Those who are unwilling to abide by it will be banned from NazNet.
By the way, all of the moderators, (me, Scott Cundiff, Belinda Edwards, Hans DeVenter, and Glenn Harris) are volunteers. We get nothing for the time and effort we put into NazNet except an occasional "thank you" and a whole lot of grief.
