I am right! Don't even try to convince me I am wrong.

No! You are wrong! Wanna' know how I know that? Because I am always right! Ha!

Job 6:24 Teach me, and I will be quiet; show me where I have been wrong.
I will just sit under this coconut tree and drink my extra sweet lemonade and await your response.

Gordon, sometimes your posts -- mostly poems, it seems ;) -- hit whatever "spot" needs hitting, just as much as that lemonade you're drinking under the coconut tree there. ;) Yes, sometimes succinct ... and oh, so sharp!

Usually whenever the words speak n tongue appear together here on NazNet it's on. Do you think because you speak tongue in cheek that you are superior to me? Or are you trying to sidetrack this discussion because you KNOW I am right?
Climbs coconut tree to get one for Gina. Opps! Sorry Gina.

We all make mistakes. Some people just don't want to admit it. But I know I am right this time. Thanks for agreeing with me Joel.

Guess what! To begin with, I was not told that I was not logged in. that is unusual.
Next, I think that you should write a poem about "I Am Right." We know that you are, but there are some people that are not convinced. I imagine that your grandchild is right, also.

Barb!!! No he is NOT right! I am right! Shouldn't one Buckeye stand up for another, especially when you know that he is wrong?

Hmmm...words cannot express the wrongness of your discourse while to expand on the rightness of my verbage would to be wrong...which I am not, so therefore I cannot.

Buckeyes. That explains a lot. You southerners just don't respect your northern neighbors the Wolverines. Or should I have said y'all?

Go ahead and your verbage expand
With your words you're building on sand
Because I am right and you are not
You don't have the truth that I have got
You say I am wrong but you can't say why
A fancy discourse with many words you try
My discourse is based on what I know
Your's sounds like the winds that blow
When all is said and done
This argument I will have won

OK, Cindi H ... and Gordon G ... you're both wrong (can I outrun ya's!?) ... that verbage has an "I" in it ... that's what's wrong! So, I'M right! well, at least this one time. ;) Yeah, it's spelled "verbiage." So, there! :basic05
PS * cool poem there, Gordon! 'What I tho't we'd see when opening that first post. ;)

Gina, I am so sorry! It is hard climbing a coconut tree holding a glass of extra sweet lemonade. On the bright side I didn't drop the lemonade on you, too. Thankfully, your big dog was there to kiss your poor little head and make everything better. How long do you think he is going to keep me treed?

Verbiage or verbage it's all Greek to me
This is what happens when I agree with Cindi
(Can I outrun ya's!?) instead of you
Looks like you have made mistakes too
I'M right is not the right way to spell
Big I apostrophe and little m I must tell
The first word in a sentence should, well, be capitalized
Three mistakes to correct our one bet you didn't realize
.....peace.....
P.S.
I thought I would correct tho't but decided not to
I still feel bad about dropping that coconut on you

But Gordon, dear, isn't it clear ...
Vernacularly speaking ... "ya's" OK, y'hear!? ;)
I'M right is not the right way to spell
Big I apostrophe and little m I must tell
But you must realize I was yelling, and that we do in caps!
Sometimes even with exclamation points ... ah, well ...
you're teasing, mayhaps ............ (ha!) :basic05

Good one, Gordon ... but realize you must ...
when it comes to "splainin'" ... I'm, well ... just .............. (LOL & again, LOL)

Hey, you made me work my brain at night to try a poetic answer. ;)
P.S.

Cute ... this has been fun ... but I must add one more "tho't" ...
In an effort to conserve, I abbreviate, lest we have a letter draught. hee-hee

Oh, I forgot. You cannot be right Gordon. Because I married Mr. Right.
So that makes me Mrs. Right. And my first name is Always.

A.R., ain't that what pirates say?
Let me get this straight. You are Mrs. Right. Your first name is Always. Does that mean your husband's first name is Never?
I can be right without being Mr. Right
This point is not really worth the fight
Your being Always Right doesn't make me Always Wrong
That kinda sounds like a line you'd hear in a country song
Before you said I was right but now you say I'm wrong
Your convictions on this matter don't seem very strong

Vernacularly speaking. I can figure that one out. Remember that guy who played in those Ernest Goes To ______ movies. He was always talking about Vern. So vernacularly speaking is when you sound like Vern.
But you must realize I was yelling, and that we do in caps! Sometimes even with exclamation points ... ah, well ...you're teasing, mayhaps ............ (ha!)
What does wearing caps have to do with anything? And if you move your dog you wouldn't have to yell up at me.
Good one, Gordon ... but realize you must ...

Just for the oppurtunity to hear once more your hee hee

I Am Right
As a child they said the boy's not right
Those kind of words led to many a fight
But in the night when alone in my bed
I shed tears over the words that were said
Invisible scars that were painful to the touch
Keeping people away by acting out too much
Never could I get past their refusal
I worked hard to win their approval
Destined to be wrong no matter how right
It's easier for them to keep me out of sight
One day I met Jesus in a most unusual way
In the midst of my darkness He brought day
He accepted me with my faults and flaws
He didn't judge like others with all their laws
As healing took place a new sight I did see
They were the ones who needed to be free
Behind a reputation they pretend to be strong
No matter how right without love you are wrong
Remembering my tears that were shed in the night
I work so hard to show them GOD's "night light"
It's far better to lose an argument than a brother
GOD is glorified when I lay down my life for another
Better to build up another in prayer unnoticed, unseen
I listen to their cries and uncertainty as they wean
Better to turn the cheek and others think I weak
Than it to justify myself by the words I speak
My life is consumed by the love of my GOD
Destined to walk in the footsteps He trod
I am right only because Jesus says so
Following Him wherever He may go
.....peace.....
