Do you have experience with broadcasting PowerPoint presentations that include audio and video from the presenter? This could be a good way to share training with ministry leaders, other pastors in our cluster, and even our sister churches overseas -- especially with the rising cost of gasoline.
I've downloaded the broadcast add-on from Microsoft for PowerPoint 2003. Two Microsoft articles got my attention: "Broadcast PowerPoint presentations to small groups" and "Broadcast PowerPoint presentations live to large groups."
This technology, I believe, could be a great way to connect with house churches, small group Bible studies, sister churches, etc., wherever there is a computer. It could assist with continuing education for clergy, and much more. Our church has been advised to purchase a server for other needs, and we wanted to check into this possibility at the same time.
If you can help, I'll send you a toll-free 800 number (in the US) or a Skype address (elsewhere). If I had patience, I could probably figure it out, but...
Thanks, Ian
