One of the best webcams (so far as video quality) I've seen is the Abbey Road crossing webcam. The live stream is focused on the zebra crossing featured on the cover of the final Beatles album, just outside the famous studio where many of their recordings were done. People mimic the pose from that album cover and, since the webcam is a famous one, you see them on their cellphones talking and waving to the folks back home.

For those of us on this side of the pond, you want to check it out in the morning when it is the middle of the day in London.

Another title for the webcam could be "playing in traffic" -- it's a busy intersection without a stop sign. London drivers aren't prone to yield to people in a crosswalk, although if you insist they will stop for you. Everyone wants to do the Beatles thing and there are some close calls.

I find it amazing that we live in a world where at any moment people will around the world may be watching a traffic intersection as a form of entertainment. Sad really. :)

Yeah, it is sad we don't have more of a life than to watch traffic, huh, Kevin? ;)

But your post struck my funny bone ... so I just had to click "laughing," anyway.

Hey! They're driving down the wrong side of the street! ;)
