Dear Mama, Daddy, Cornelius, Matthias and Zacharias!
(note the short forms of her brothers names)

Today a dream became fullfilled, I have seen Michelangelos ceiling frescoes in the Sistine Chapel! It is overwhelming!

Brian McClellan and I have been today as tourists to all possible showplaces.

Last night Armando invited me to a restaurant near Collosseum. All (things have been) super!

He enjoyed the greetings and asked for you.

All (in) Love, Your Lili

Do you know, what I think?
The Lord Jesus Christ will hate that "wonderfull" fine art in that chapel.
Sell it to a Museum and give the money in Alabaster - or so - were better.
All gold, making us blind is nothing for him.
This gold of Rome was paid by blood of underpressed people.

Is this the Brian McClellan that is from Olathe, KS? If so, I went to college with him. The last I heard he was building boats by hand in Indonesia helping out the tsunami victims.

The last I heard he was building boats by hand in Indonesia helping out the tsunami victims.Yes, he is son of Dr. Ron & Karen McClellan. My doughter lived for one year in the McClellan family in one of the boys room like their doughter. Members of my family met several times members of the McClellan family in Büsingen, seat of Eurasia District Office and European Nazarene College, in Frankfurt / Main and Berlin, Germany.

Brian in one of his boats in Venice, Italy in 2004.

I really, really like Mr. and Mrs. McClellan! They are really neat people. I knew Brian from band.

I just realized that my brother and his wife knew Lili from college. My brother is Brad Wood and my sister-in-law is Rachel (Surman) Wood. My sister-in-law was in many of her psychology classes.

I would love to see more pictures. Brian is a very talented person.

I guess, you do know the MNU Jazz Ensembles Europe Tour webpages on MidAmericas Webpages, I will pick ou some of their photos to talk about. To get a bit from my side might be interesting too?

See my photos from may 16th 2005
The MNU Jazzers arrive in Hügelstraße Community Frankfurt / Main,
do prepare the concert in evening. They always do train for some hours before a concert.

I found some photos, showing Brian.

--- later added --- I found an elder NazNet page and upload

a tip
To load "138 in large size 1280 x 960" might need too much time, there is a selection, the last link, "49 copies in different sizes" or to make another (your own) selection, take first "139 in middle size 640 x 480".

And again, another elder NazNet page, "one week later - Berlin" may 22nd 2005

Brian McClellan was not in Berlin to that time - I can remember, later I have heard, he was already on his way to Asia - a few days after the Frankfurt concert.

the other, "Frankfurt / Main"

At left Alexandra Dünow, at right Lili - the young Lady is from the kingdom of the Netherlands, this three have been called the three germans because before they came to MNU, they have been in common on European Nazarene College.

Thank you so much for all the photos! You have a very beautiful daughter.

Looking at them reminded me of when I went to the British Isles with MNU's band and choir. That was my first time out of the country and that was when I felt a call to missions on my life. I didn't know if I was to be a career missionary, short term, or just go on Work and Witness trips, I just knew that God placed the desire in my heart. Now, 11 years and a few Work and Witness trips later, God has opened the door for me to spend a year in Ecuador teaching and helping the missionaries. I leave August 10th! I am very excited to see what God has in store for me. I have been so blessed with just the preparation time and how God has allowed everything to run so smoothly--thus helping to realize that this was for sure in his plan for me.

Thanks again for the pictures. You never know, I may be in Germany one day and get to meet you and your family!! :)

Thank you so much for all the photos! You have a very beautiful daughter.Oh, thank you, please be quiet, I am already too proud!
And
from where she got it? You should see her dad! The pure sunshine he is (from backside). Serious - everybody can see on face (physiognomy and by body language) under what spirit someone is grown up. No wonder she is charming - under daily showers of the Lords love and with peace in heart. This we do know also from elder and from old, wrinkled faces - I do know alot.

Looking at them reminded me of when I went to the British Isles with MNU's band and choir. That was my first time out of the country and that was when I felt a call to missions on my life. I didn't know if I was to be a career missionary, short term, or just go on Work and Witness trips, I just knew that God placed the desire in my heart.Right. Everybody is called - what way to go or how to act (alot can not go, must be spectators, giving and / or praying - also very important) is an individual question.

Now, 11 years and a few Work and Witness trips later, God has opened the door for me to spend a year in Ecuador teaching and helping the missionaries. I leave August 10th! I am very excited to see what God has in store for me. I have been so blessed with just the preparation time and how God has allowed everything to run so smoothly--thus helping to realize that this was for sure in his plan for me.Are you married?
If not, please be extreme carefully.
My daughter in law (nee Elisabeth Warkentin, from a Mennonite family) spent a year for god and met my eldest son and married him.
Take care please, not to be swallowed!

And - please do not forget to let uns NazNetters know what you are doing, your desires, your needings etc
Do you have already a camera?
NazNetters are hungry for photos from mission fields!

Thanks again for the pictures. You never know, I may be in Germany one day and get to meet you and your family!! :)My home is your home. You are welcomed day and night - as a family member. In case we fail a meeting on this dusty earth we will get it a bit later - with clean, not dusty feet.

Oh, by the way
your feet are sooo lovely!
From where I can I know that - not seen a photo?
It is written in the bible.
IS 52, v. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

I wish always a secure way for your pretty feet to make you happy and rejoice.
