who found humor in the comparison/contrast between Judy's and Barb's notes?

Sorry if that's offensive to some.

I found it funny.

You lost me on that one for a minute.....and then it dawned on me. You threw me when you said "Barb" instead of "Barbara."

Now I get it. LOL

Actually, I noticed too and commented to my family. I honestly hadn't seen what post was at the top when I posted about the squirrel. :)

It was only afterwards that I noticed.

And yes...I am Barbara. Fairly insistent on that in fact.

Nelson, I don't know which notes you are talking about. But if you say it's funny, I believe you. :) :fav18

No, Nelson, you are not the only one. I noticed it pretty quickly, I think. I also note similar occurences frequently around here, but have occasionally just chalked it up to my own weird sense of humor. So weird, in fact, that I've begun to not point it out - people pretty quickly pick up on our weirdness.

By the way, how many hours a day do you sit around and think up those daily taglines? I really don't know if they're good or not, but I love 'em! However, maybe I shouldn't encourage you. :p

Just above Judy's post entitled:

Jesus was in our service today

was my post

A squirrel ran through our sanctuary today

It was a humourous placement....totally unintentional on my part.

Nelson, Nelson, Nelson...yes, you are the only one. For me, being such a fine Christian and all, my response to Judy's post was to have a shouting spell. When I read Barbara's post I was deeply concerned for the safety of the squirrel and the precious people of their congregation.

I am sure everyone else responded as I did.

What are we going to do with you???

P.S.
Yes, I laughed too.

Yeah, I'd noticed that Jesus was in one service, and a squirrel in t'other ... but {speaking to Dennis Scott here now, too} that's how "FarSide" humor brains work, Dennis! :p

If God can speak through a donkey as recorded in the Bible, why can't a squirrel, one of His created creatures be used to wake up the congregation to listen to the preacher?
