I had a PSA test three months ago and it was elevated, so I had another PSA test done and got the results this morning. The PSA is up to 9.1, so this Wed. I will have another prostate biopsy done. I would appreacite your prayers for a successful outcome.

You know that taking zinc (I have heard) regularly helps.
Keep us informed.

I was just breaking the news to my 20-year-old son yesterday that apparently every man who lives long enough will eventually get prostate cancer. I'm glad it's so treatable these days, but we're definitely praying that yours is not cancer.
I love and appreciate your ministry and your reports of God at work in your life and in your church. I want you on the job for a long time to come.
I'm glad we serve a God who loves us and who has miraculous healing power.
Love,
Brad

Thank you to each of your for your prayers for tomorrow. Your kindness is so much appreciated. And thank you for the kind and encouraging words. Your posts are a real upper. As soon as I know the results in a couple of days or so, I'll post what my doc says.
Brad, your words are special. Thanks for being a friend.
And Monty, I have wondered about you at times and how things are with you, and then your ministry. Virginia and I were in your new state of ministry when I was on R&R while in Vietnam. Many found memories of Hawaii and all we saw and experienced there. One day while we were driving along in the rental car, a little Datsun, two-seater, rag top, having just finished a huge luch at some resurant, I saw a small sign advertizing a McDonalds. I pulled in and had a hamburger, fry and a shake. Man-O-Man, I knew I was back in the States then. I got so much of the shake out of the cup that I think they could have used again without washing it. Anyway, how are you doing these days?

I had my biopsy today along with a scope and lots of water to inflate the bladder so the doc can see the prostate from that side. He used only a relaxing drug today that really did not hit me for a couple of hours. He put me out momentarily the first two times. I really prefer those over what I experienced today.
Anyway, I return to the doc next Monday morning to find out the results. I continue to appreciate your prayers for an outcome of no cancer.
Thanks for caring.
