I spent 3 facinating and inspiring days at the Willow Creek Leadership Summit.
Did anyone else attend and what did you think of the entire experience. I am particularily interested in what you thought of Bono's interview on the churches responce to aids.

I have attended the conference twice in the past, but I didn't go this year so I can only comment in general.

What did you think of the Summit in General?

It's very inspirational. It's also an experience to see ministry on a scale beyond even the largest Nazarene churches.

It was my first experience with Willow's "simulcast"... pretty amazing technology... and my second experience with a Willow Conference. I was not disappointed by the excellence, information, or overall experience :fav18

I thought Bono's piece was pretty amazing... but I've followed him for a long time (back when "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" was used to determine that he definitely could not be a believer), so I wasn't really surprised by what he said.

I was more impressed by the direction that Jim Collins & Bill Hybels' friendship seems to be taking... and by the Harvard MBA Professor. It's been a long time since I've been challenged to think that quickly about something complex, and I LOVED it :o

Kudos to my district SSM team for promo-ing and supporting it!

Kim :)
