One day when heaven was filled with His praises,
One day when sin was as black as could be,
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin,
Dwelt among men, my Example is He!

Refrain
Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;
Buried He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever;
One day He's coming - O glorious day!

Verse 2
One day they led Him up Calvary's mountain,
One day they nailed Him to die on the tree;
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected:
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He!

Verse 3
One day they left Him alone in the garden,
One day He rested, from suffering free;
Angels came down o'er His tomb to keep vigil;
Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He!

Verse 4
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer,
One day the stone rolled away from the door;
Then He arose, over death He had conquered;
Now is ascended, my Lord evermore!

Verse 5
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming,
One day the skies with His glories will shine;
Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing;
Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!

Hey, Nelson!

I just did a search and see that you haven't done "Amazing Grace" yet (at least since we adopted this software). My search did, however, turn up 44 threads in which the phrase "amazing grace" appeared.

I created my own CD of songs I downloaded from the internet. It's the same song, Amazing Grace, performed by around 20 different artists. One version is by Destiny's Child. One is by George Beverly Shea. One is by Glenn Campbell. One is by U2. One is bagpipes. One is the pan flute. I've got country versions, pop versions, a blues version and so forth.

My wife and kids think I'm insane for wanted to listen to the same song performed 20 times by different performers, but my parents and siblings, who share many of my mental defects, all thought it was such a great idea that they asked for copies for themselves. By the third performer, my wife is ready to start screaming and running away. My mother got to the end of the CD and reported: "They just keep getting better and better!"

Isn't family wonderful? :bannana
