New Start

Last Sunday, our church in Koog aan de Zaan (near Amsterdam) started a daughter congregation in Purmerend, some 15 miles north. Here are some pics, made my Gerard Oppewal, a Nazarene from Koog.

That looks like a great start!! How many of those people will stay at the New Start location?

I understand 50 people will stay there, Dave. The "mother" church in Koog has about 400 in attendence on a given Sunday.

Of course, there will be many people at a first service, but the church is started by 50 people from the Koog aan de Zaan church, so yes, they have a good starting position.
