Logged in users will now see an additional button at the bottom of messages.

Here's how it works: sometimes you see a message that you appreciate but don't really want to type a "me too" reply. Now, you can click on the button and an additional line will be added to the message saying you have said "thanks."

"Thanks" at the bottom is OK, Scott. However, I see you've also added how many times we've been thanks right at the top for all to see ... what if our posts just don't garner many "thanks" ... what if someone, therefore, feels like they might not be as appreciated as the next one who has many "Thanks" noted at the top of his posts? Hmmmmmmmmmmm ..... ;)

'Just hadda ask, y'know! :basic05

I guess it is possible that someone might get their feelings hurt because not enough people said "thanks" to them, but wouldn't that be a very petty thing to do? I think that our participants are a pretty mature group that can be glad for others receiving compliments without being hurt that they didn't get one too.

Don't forget to notice my little smilies by my note, Scott! 'Just had to be the one to bring it up this time ... sort of like that clicked-on count over at Ceilidh that was discussed "eons" ago. ;)

... that I misunderstood the "thanks #" thingie ... it tells how many times the person has thanked others, not how many times they've been thanked, it appears. Oh, well .................. ;)
