View Full Version : I really wish we had more of a bio here...

I have trouble sometimes remember who is a pastor, who is a layperson, who is in school, etc. It makes me wish we had more of a bio here, maybe on our profile pages. But, from what I can tell, we only really have one small text box (connection to the Church of the Nazarene) to tell our stories in, and it's very limited in the number of characters it allows.
Any chance we could get more info either in the profiles or under the names next to the posts?

Rich has made an excellent suggestion. This would be a very useful feature for Naznet. Obviously anyone who did NOT want to share any personal information could just ignore the feature.

We did used to have such a space, Bill (don't recall your name BC). People could fill out more than, "yes, I'm using my real name," & what sort of Naz church connection. Not sure if that's been dumped from being an option, even, or if it's just not been added back here since the crash. Yes, it would be nice. I've looked to see who's behind such-&-such a post, too, and found no answer(s). ;)

I'm guessing his name BC was Bill Morrison. :D We've had to use our real names for as long as I've been on NazNet, and I joined in summer of 2008.

Yeah, it probably was. Guess I worded it funny, huh? Think y'all know I meant I don't recall seeing his name here BC ... not that I couldn't recall what his name was BC. ;P

Now I know that's what you meant. I really didn't get that before. Oops. :)

To write an intro: Settings>Edit Profile> Scroll to the bottom and start writing in the Introduction Field
So see introductions of others: Profiles>About Me (once you write an intro, you can also edit it on your profile page)

I went to change something in my Profile today and noticed my Introduction section was blank so I completed it again. Scott, do you think you could post a note in the Discussion Forum asking everyone to complete their Introduction again?
