I have recently discovered Greek yogurt, and it has become a favorite. I need to eat yogurt for medical reasons, and really enjoy the thick, creamy taste and texture of Greek yogurt. I eat Chobani non fat plain with blueberries - fresh or frozen - and a little granola almost every day.

Does anyone else eat it?

No, but you sparked my interest. Does this seem accurate to you? See below

Yes, I too eat Greek yogurt, lots of good protein, I eat Yoplait as so far that is all that is carried in the store I shop at. Plain, strawberry, and blueberry, all good.

I was in the grocery store just the day before yesterday and saw Greek yogurt on the shelf. I asked my wife: " what in the world is Greek yogurt?"
Her ignorance, equal to mine, was adequately reflected in her reply. NOW I KNOW. Thank you for the information Mike!

Randy - That web site is accurate. However, I eat the non fat variety, so the calorie count is 140 for an 8 oz serving. And since I have lactose issues, Greek yogurt is not as difficult for me.

Did you know that you can turn regular yogurt into greek yogurt? The only difference is that the greek yogurt is strained for several hours. Use a colander lined with paper towels and drain out the whey. The whey, surprisingly enough can be used as a substitute for buttermilk, particualrly if the original yogurt is plain. So Mike, you have your excuse for this train. What's mine?

Oh, yes...good stuff! I eat Oikos. I prefer the blueberry but will also get vanilla in the larger tub.
