OK, I realize I am not on the photography board. I am attepmting at uploading pictures into a post. One is of our beloved dog, Sunny. She's a delight! The other is of our kitchen. My favorite room in the house-I LOVE to cook! :basic03

LOL! You are funny Cecil! There's always something cooking around here. I just made a batch of cookies and gave most to the neighbors so I wouldn't eat so many. I sent a bunch with my husband on his way out this morning too.

We are smack dab between 45 and 59. Sorry the lake (Livingston) is a bit too low to do some jetskiing. Makes fishing a bit difficult too. But the diehards out there have made it possible.

There's always something cooking around here. I just made a batch of cookies and gave most to the neighbors so I wouldn't eat so many.
LOL! You sound like me, now. I bake bread, and have to give it away, since I'm the only one who will eat it to any degree. Kay will eat one slice when it is first baked, then the rest is mine.... too many carbs and calories.
I do some cooking, mainly bread and pies. I made some bran muffins, as well as honey wheat bread and a blueberry pie this past weekend when we went to the Ft. Worth area to visit kids and grand kids.
I like experimenting on stuff like that.

I love to cook, too. The last year, we had an all-night games night at the church, sleep over and everything, teen thing! The next morning was the Ladies breakfast. The kids were to make it for them. They did eggs benedict.:fun11 Well, we cooked all the poached eggs the night before and kept them in ice cold water in the fridge all night. Heated them up in the morn, added the toasted english muffins on the bottom and the hollandiase sauce on top, and the ladies had a marvellous breakfast. Well, they asked to me cook it again this year, but I am going to be away. Maybe next month! (I'm going back to the cottage for a nice fall colour weekend, and yes, for all photo lovers, I will post pics when I return!)

Thank you Dana and Barbara for the compliments. I agree with posting pictures of kitchens. That would be fun. Mine could use a little more color, like RED window treatments instead of tan and black! Also what you cannot see in my picture are the grapes with vines and the saying, "Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much" painted over the door frame area.

With the Live Well-in small print I added the reference 'John 10:10'

'Laugh Often'-referenced with Proverbs 31:25

and Love Much-1 Corinthians 13.

I do need to also add the touch of grapes in other areas of the kitchen but it was soooo much work!

P.S. My neighbor showed me how to upload these pictures and it was sooo much work on my computer. Hopefully I can get you pictures of the grapes sometime soon. :basic03
