Our internet connection has been a little unreliable lately, frequently being very slow or cutting out entirely. At the moment, I can get NazNet perfectly well, but nothing else -- not youtube.com, not amazon.com, not foxnews.com -- nothing.

Maybe God's trying to tell me something. :o

I'm sorry your techy things aren't working, but I have another question. Which way do your toilets flush?

Which way do your toilets flush?

DOWN, hopefully.

Ooh! This is wierd.

Sorry re your techie stuff, as someone else said. However, it's funny, too, how not only the movement of water may be different "down under," but letters may mix up backwards from one hemisphere to the other, too, eh!?

Sorry, Brad, just couldn't resist ... with weird coming out wierd in your post from down under. ;) :basic05

Maybe Brad meant "wired" instead of "wierd" ... or even "weird."
Just another way of looking at it.

Oops on the misspelling. I was in a hurry and obviously wasn't thinking.

I'm told the toilets flush in the opposite direction but I'm not observant enough to be able to verify that. ;-)

I knew dat ... but it gave the perfect opportunity to pick on you, anyway. :)

Yes, I've heard that. I could not tell you, either, which way it swirls here without going to look, so don't blame you for not remembering so you can compare the two once you're gone from here. Tell you what ... if I remember to look, I'll see which way it's swirling next time I'm in there, come and tell you ... and then you can check to see if it's the same or the opposite there, OK? HA!

You know that we here in the U S of A are breathlessly awaiting details of the things that are different "down" there.

Just the facts, Sir, just the facts.

Wanna know something. I don't even know which way they "swirl" here.
And I don't really care.
Just gotta bug you.

Have a great day... or is that night?

You guys are unbelievable!

If you don't notice which way the toilet flushes, how do you expect us to trust you with the really[I] important stuff?

I guess it wouldn't help at all to tell you whether it is clockwise or counterclockwise, since your digital clock doesn't go either way. It only moves forward.

Sometimes it's just difficult for those of us who are into crucial life or death issues to communicate with . . . whoever.

I can hardly wait to preach tomorrow. With this as a background, I should be able to communicate really well. I hope I don't have to tell them which way to [I]turn in their Bibles.

If I remember correctly the toilet's are the "power" variety, so there is a "whish" action instead of the "spinning" action.

You guys are getting too deep for me, discussing the finer points of toilet flushing.
And I haven't "been there, done that," so I can't really comment.

Poor Brad.
What did he write about at the beginning of this thread? My "partzheimers" must be kicking in. I don't seem to remember.

OK, Scott!

Now there's somebody who pays attention to appropriate detail.

And CW, Brad didn't really have a question. He was just gripin'.

If so, I can hardly imagine Him being clearer, apart from thundering the words down from heaven! :basic03

Brad

I have never flushed my outhouse before, so I don't know in what direction it would turn ifin I did. hmm

Oh, Brad! I keep forgetting to look. Just a sec ... be right back! :basic05

OK, so we're looking down at clockwise-swirling water here; does it swirl counter-clockwise down under? Go check; HURRY!! HA!

Down under I would think I'd not want to look down into the terlet, cause it would spray up at ya...?

Okay, I just checked and it's definitely counter-clockwise here.

Of course all we're doing is confirming the extensive research conducted in a phone poll by Bart in an episode of the Simpsons about Australia.

Awww, shoot! I missed that episode. Actually, I've missed a whole lot more of them than I've ever seen. Hasn't it been on for about a decade or more? It's only been the last couple of years or so that I've watched reruns once in a great while at about 5pm ... not usually one to turn the TV on that early. But since I tho't it might be an OK thing to watch ... remember to turn i on once in awhile. :basic05

But you've gotta know that if I happen upon it someday, I'll think of all the NazNet Aussies while watching it. ;)
