All those stupid things I wrote before are gone. I have a new opportunity to clean up my act, and pretend I'm responsible. Maybe no one will remember how silly I have been . . . except for this post, I guess. When I first went to college, where no one knew me, believe it or not, I kept my mouth shut for a few months, and people later told me they thought I must be smart. Eventually they learned, but I had them all fooled for awhile. I could do that again. It's almost like lying, but it is such a good feeling, knowing you haven't messed up yet . . . at least not very much. It's like wearing sunglasses, and thinking no one can see you.

Don't worry, we remember. And our knives are still sharpened. :P

Why, . . . whatever do you mean?

OK, I'm back!

ps - Could both those people who got me confused with someone else, and sent me private messages that were mistakenly, but highly, complimentary, please re-write them and send them again? You have no idea how many times I have gone back and read them. It helps so much sometimes, even if you sent them to the wrong person. With Naznet losing everything, they're gone.

How appropriate that we should have a new start this Easter season. While I will mourn the loss of some of my more insightful posts (okay, the loss of my one insightful post), i am thrilled to have the stupid and sarcastic stuff lost. Now, if I could just get some of the other hard drives in my life to crash.

Now I have to be good, because my stellar reputation (nearly 2,000 thanks) is all gone. ;)

You'll be there in no time. Just ad some more of your generally gentle, non controversial posts, and you're all set ;)

BTW, Billy, don't get me wrong. It was meant jokingly. I like how you always think out of the box, I only wish it would have been less affected by your experiences in church.

You know, I thought I could leave you people to your own devices while I sneaked away for a few days of fun in the sun at Laughlin, NV. Guess that'll teach me. While I had my share of posts, none would really qualify for deathless prose - small loss.

Nice to hear from you.
