It has been several years since Sue Ingle posted the picture of the "cat scan." As I recall, a number of cat lovers got up set. I sure hope they don't get made at me for this post.
I saw this fantastic cat carrier on another web site. At $16.49, I knew that some would want to try it.

I wonder if it would work for a raccoon?

And look, it was developed by "almost a naznetter", of Focus on the Feline. This is a naznet natural! If your critics get too harsh, perhaps we could have him develop a carrier for cat lovers, too.

There are a lot of good ones on that web site.

Joel, that brain diagram reminded me of the Sunday comic found in Parade re that huge dog (forgot his name now). He was excited that his mistress had the vacuum cleaner out -- maybe there was a sale going on? -- but she was telling him, "No, I'm not going to sell the vacuum cleaner!"
Dogs are like that, too, sometimes ... tho' I've heard of some who don't mind their hair being vacuumed. Ma's dog splits even faster than Sasha when its gotten out around here. You'll find Ginger hiding under the kitchen table, as she knows it's not going to come out there, hopefully, there being no carpet in that room -- tho' it does sometimes get vacuumed rather than swept. ;)

Our cats have always ran and hid when my wife vacuums. What really surprised me was when we got a chiming clock a few years ago. It chimed every 15 minutes and it scarred the cat to death. It took several days for him to get used to it. Eventually he didn't even notice it.
