Good to hear from you again eh... Still pray for you and your Sunday services.
O, I resigned my position as sound guru last Sunday. I will still be available for advice, but that is it.

How are your nerves anyway? Probably better than mine...

Why am I always the last to know, Mark?

I hope your nerves improve, though.

Frankly, I think it's those low-flying portico roofs that got your attention. Don't hold a grudge, eh!?

I think the only way to get others involved is to step aside completely.
Peter, Rick Strong, Darrell, Dave, and Jessie will be around. I will still be around to help Rick in setting up the new equipment.

Prayer?! Is that the reason I am able to sit back now?

Just saw your post now, Mark!? Not very observant, eh?!

Well, my nerves were the same...getting old I guess. Don't ya hate it when everyone turns around and looks at you when many times it is not your mistake!? I managed to quit the Paxil as well and personally, I don't think the Lord wants you taking that to do jobs for Him...time to back off! But He does use those things to help you get over the hump! I was actually looking after two jobs..running around the last few minutes trying to find someone to run the PowerPoint. It was a nightmare at times for me as I am a perfectionist.

But I trained a few and my main man (much younger with a more forceful attitude) is doing great! He changed the video projection bulb, something that I don't think I would attempt to do.

Now I just create and load in the PowerPoint for announcements and the worship services. It is much easier on the head and it is something I enjoy doing for the Lord!

I was watching one of these tv preachers and he mentioned that if you are working in the church and feel comfortable and experience satisfaction and enjoyment, then you know that is your ministry for the Lord. In other words, it should not be a burden to you. After working with the sound and many other areas in the church, it is time to let the younger generation take over. I am still there to help in whatever way I feel knowledgeable in.

Just re-evaluate your gifts even if you did them for years and ask the Lord to show you those things that are enjoyable for you....dive into that area and leave the rest to the Lord!

Blessings, Bob ;)
