I want to post our ministry newsletter online so it's easier for those overseas to read. I've sent a pdf file be email in the past, but it takes a long time for some of them to download, and they may pay quite a lot per minute while they are online.

I'm thinking of something like photobucket does for pictures. I would make it a pdf or maybe MS Word. It was created in Publisher, but that's way to big to post.

Thanks. :)

Does your ISP offer you space, Charlene? Server space is cheap and often offered as a perk to ISP subscribers. Of course, some hosts are more friendly than others and there's still the issue of whether you can get and use your own domain name or whether it's all right to be at someisp.com/~someone'saccount/churchnewsletter

www.orgsites.com

This is a site for non-profits and it is free. I think it might work for you.

A good site for doing an email newsletter if you should want to go in this direction is constant contact. www.constantcontact.com

The prices are very good. I think even a small church or district could afford this. It is very user friendly and has a 60 day free trial. They even assign a represative to assist you during the free trial.

Check it out!

You might also consider yourchurchweb.net, which is the webhost company that I run. I'm running a sale for the rest of 2006, but even our regular prices are very competitive.

Even if you end up at someisp.com/~someone'saccount/churchnewsletter, you can register a domain to point to that folder...

Also, you might consider using blogger.com as your primary tool for adding news...they will host it for free, or you can you point a domain at the sub-folder, or you can upload it to your own space.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It's more complicated than I thought. :)
