I recently upgraded from the iPad 1 to the 2, and in the process acquired a case with a bluetooth keyboard included. For the most part I enjoy the keyboard, but it has its drawbacks too, and I find myself taking it out of the case more than I did previously. Does anyone else use a keyboard with the iPad, and if so what are your main reasons for doing so?

I use a bluetooth keyboard with my Pad most of the time. I dislike using touch screen keyboards, I need to feel the keypad under my fingers... I guess that it's really personal preference.
While I don't mind using the touch screen for navigation, it just bothers me to type using it - plus the on screen keyboard reduces the useable screen size too much for my taste.

I use the Brookstone keyboard (http://www.brookstone.com/bluetooth-keyboard-portfolio-ipad-2). I love it. I take my iPad out of it mostly only on Sunday mornings when I use it to preach. Other than that, I pretty much keep it in the case. I have my iPad with me almost all the time. I imagined that I would use it a lot, but I didn't think it would become 90-95% of my technology usage. I'm even considering downgrading my phone to a non-smart phone next time around.
The keyboard is crucial for this usability for me though. It may not be for everyone, but the iPad/keyboard combo is perfect for me. A laptop now seems cumbersome.
