Helping Granny

The girls loved my husband's grandmother and in their family "granny" was the designation to be used.

When I first married into the family, I could only think of the kind of granny I saw on Beverley Hillbillies.

But as time went on, this granny became a very precious person to me. She died four years ago.

Here is a picture I found when I was going through photos for the girls scrapbook. The resolution isn't the best but you can get the idea.

Lindsay is on the left, Leisha is on the right.

They are "helping".

We also had a Granny in our family. All the kids loved her, she was tiny and the great grandkids got to calling her Little Granny and the name stuck. She has been gone for a few years now but she is still called Little Granny.

That's amazing. My daughters called her "little granny" too! To distinguish here from my grandmother who was a larger woman.
