Remember balancing your first child on your knee and seeing her smile?
Remember taking your child to her first day of school, and then getting in the car afterwards with eyes full of tears?
Remember that first wink of a flirt with the one who became your loved spouse?
Remember the first car you ever owned, no matter how new it was you were so proud of it?
Remember that day you got hurt and came home, and your spouse doctored up that bruise and it felt so much better?
Remember that kiss from your Dad as he gave you away at the marriage altar?
Remember that little voice with a smile and tears that said "I love you Daddy" before you left on a business trip?
Remember kneeling beside the bed with your little one and teaching him his first prayer?
Remember teaching your son how to hit a ball with the bat and when he hit one, it broke out the neighbor's window?
Remember opening that letter that smelled like perfume, and reading those loving tender words from your affectionate partner?
Oh the treasures we all have! Every so often we unlock the treasure box and take them out for a while.
