Linda and I have now hiked in 7 states in 8 days: Washington, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, & Arizona.
Photo One -- Linda on Pike's Peak. It was too cold to hike at the top, but we hiked a little way on the Barr Trail.
Photo Two -- Me on Pike's Peak.
Photo Three -- This morning we hiked in Petroglyph National Monument. On the 2.5 mile trail, we saw more than 200 rock drawings that were made between 500 and 800 years ago. There were also a few that were made more recently. Photo Three is one of the old ones.
Photo Four -- Me in the "Painted Desert" in Arizona.
Photo Five -- Linda in the Petrified National Park. Those trees were alive about 200 million years ago -- even before the dinosaurs.
Photo Six -- Me sitting on a 200 million year old stump!!!
PS: Sorry, the pictures got loaded out of order.
