Friends

A question. When does your church do Caravan. On the traditional Wednesday night or some other night. We are thinking about changing ours to Sunday Nights. Is this a radical idea. In todays world to minister to families you have to go with the flow I Guess. I do need your input.

We're into our second year of Caravans and we are holding it on Monday nights.

When I was district Caravan director (Eastern Michigan) we had one church that held Caravan on Sunday night and one on a week night other than Wednesday if I remeber correctly. The two questions that I'd ask, were I you are "When can I get adequate staff?" and "Is one time better than another for reaching unchurched guests to the program?"

Loraine,

Thanks for your reply. We have already asked that question of staff and they all said Sunday is fine with them. In fact by moving to Sunday night we may be able to keep some staff that have a hard time getting to church on Wednesday night because of the distance they travel.

Also we have some families that have requested another time because of school and other things there children are involved in.

Thanks for your input
