We bought a new digital video camera this week (Panasonic), which also has still picture capability with a separate card.........sooooooo..........

Now I can share not only still pictures, but VIDEOS of Ebony doing her agility. Are you just thrilled to pieces???????? HUMOR ME, OKAY?

I'm SOOOOOOOOO sorry! Here you go! These were taken at her puppy exam, a week ago. On the first she is playing with Jeroen's sister. The others are from her exam.

Hans, I love this puppy!! So explain what kind of exam she was taking -- it looks like an obedience exam of some kind -- I had originally thought it was a physical exam...obviously not, though. It looks like the sort of thing we had to do for Ebony's Canine Good Citizen title.

Sarah is beautiful!! How old is she now?

That's right. She had to follow, or sit and stay while Marjo walked away. Then she would return and Sarah still had to remain sitting. Only after Marjo's sign, she could stand up. It has to do with basic obedience.

She was born on the 29th of April, so she's a little over 5 months now.

That is very impressive for a 5-month-old pup.....Ebony wasn't quite there yet when she was 5 months old!! Your daughter is going to have a wonderful companion if she keeps up this obedience work. A good dog is a treasure to have.

So, does Marjo take Sarah to classes for obedience? We have group classes that meet once a week -- usually about 8 dogs or so in a class for obedience. Our agility classes only had 5 dogs in it, and that was great.

It is so great to see someone really taking time to train their dog. It will really pay off in the years to come........

wow she looks like Hannie (Marjo of course) I remember seeing pictures of Amber that made me swoon with memories of me at that age...I am sure Hannie has the same thoughts...they both are beautiful!

btw I see you in Edwin as I do my son in his father, but guys don't get all mushy like that eh?

Attention of dog towards the boss - 8

Following, hooked on the line - 8

Coming when called - 9

Sitting - 10

Laying - 10

Laying and staying at 5 meters - 10

Sitting and staying at 5 meters - 10

Leadership of the boss - 8

Social abilities of the pup - 9


I hope I translated all of this correctly. Numbers are as usual here, which means from 1-10, 10 is best.
