I found "in My Fathers House by Grace Nies Fletcher".
It is very light reading, but I know Pastors wives would enjoy rereading it.
She tells of her Father's first pastorates also the comical things children do.
The stress of making ten dollars stretch over a week. Paying cash for food as the last Pastor had no money and had to leave, leaving grocery and milk bills.
This is out of print I am sure but is worth a good laugh and thinking, "been there done that".
Your library could get it from another I think.
I know you all are so busy, but it really would lift your spirits. Happy reading.
