We have a new bush plant in our front garden, and I just love the colour in this time of year

Thanks for the picture. Although Washington is the "Evergreen" state, we do have a few trees that turn in the fall. They are now in full color. The reds and yellows really add to the beauty.

Hans, that's a beautiful "bush." Thanks for sharing the picture.

Only question is.... does that "bush" have a name, or will we just call it the "No Name Bush?"

A bush by any other name is just as pretty, huh?

:)

I'll check with my wife to be sure, but I thought it was called the Cardinal's Bush, because of the red colours in autumn.

I already mentioned this elsewhere, but I miss real fall. Here in KC, they think they have fall, but the array of colors on the leaves just goes from the greens of summer to the browns of fall. It's ugly. :)

Growing up in New England, I used to think that the trees looked like one big bowl of Froot Loops (or Fruity Pebbles, take your pick).

The picture below isn't the greatest representation of colors, but for some reason it's all I have on this PC. This is the Lamoille Valley Church of the Nazarene in Johnson, VT on Columbus Day Weekend, 2001.

When attempting to attach a photo, here is what appeared on my screen:

What do I do next to be able to attach photos?

Thanks for any help,

~Edith~

I don't have a clue. Perhaps Scott can figure out what that means. I don't know what a "whitelist" is. I would guess that being on the "whitelist" must be the opposite of being on the "blacklist." I can assure you that we don't have any black lists at NazNet.

Dave, your assumption is correct. But I don't understand how it would apply to Edith's problem either.

I have a bush similar to that in my yard called a Burning Bush. I thought I should put a little statue of Moses with his sandals off near it.

Can we get a Naznet Autumn color scheme (or colour scheme)? Add it to the green and gray options.

Hannie says it's called a "Cardinal's Hat"

Thanks, Hans.
That name certainly fits it.

I have some "Turks Caps" bushes that have red flowers, but they are not as brilliant nor covered with as many flowers as your "bush."
