Sunday afternoon in Ohio

This Sunday after church our small group when to our group leader's property where they are building a new home. We cooked hot dogs over a fire even though it was in the high 70's outside. Then we walked the property. It was great.

Hi Sue. I doubt you know Dwight & Sharon Mills. Dwight sings a lot of solos and sings Southern Gospel. He is on our praise team and sings in the choir. He is a builder by trade. Sharon is the principal at Liberty Christian School. Sharon is the group leader. I just took pictures as they were walking. Sharon was back at the house. Not everyone went on the walk. We walked some pretty rough terrain and got muddy. There was a spring and we crossed the water flow and climbed (slid) down some steep areas also.

Dwight built his daughter and her husband a house on 5 acres and he is building a house for Sharon and himself on an adjoining 5 acres. It is near Rushville. They will be driving 35 miles to church and 45 or more to work in Columbus.

This is the house he built his daughter. It is beautiful inside and out. I added a couple more pictures. Dwight is in the dark blue short sleeve shirt.

The home is beautiful.
Sharon's name sounds familiar.
There was a Sharon Mills on the District Sunday School Board a couple of years ago.
Would that be the same one?
