My family and I live in the church parsonage. We've recently painted it. (You'll see that there's still some to do...it takes time with volunteer work!)

The last time it was painted (about a decade ago?), it was done by a Naznetter. Let's see if he recognizes it.

We also just put the shutters back on the church building.

Looks great Jeremy! Much brighter and fresher. Do you know what year the parsonage was built? It's lovely!

Thanks for sharing. Love the church too. We're mostly brick construction here in the south.

Do you know what year the parsonage was built?

The church was built originally in 1828 across the street as a Methodist society meeting house. Then when they made it a sanctuary, they moved it across the street, added a steeple, raised it up, etc.

The parsonage was built for $5000 in 1883, completely paid for by the then pastor's wife.

Our Methodist brothers and sisters sold us the property in 1996.

I liked both colors for the house, but think I like the, is it cream, better.
Love the church. Please send us some inside pictures of it.
We were married in a small church like that in 1948. It still stands and the Amish are going to use it as a school.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
You made my day.!!!!!!!!!!!!1
We have purchased and decorated several older homes over the years.
I always loved doing that.

Marg.

Marg,

You'll love the inside of this church. It is one of the most remarkably restored/refurbished New England churches I've ever seen. I hope Jeremy posts pictures. The interior was stripped all the way down to the framing, and new electrical service was installed prior to it's being retrofitted in New England colonial style.

This is a small picture of the inside of Jeremy's church. I think it's post #3. I remember commenting on the hard wood floors and from that was able to do a search, and came up with it. It would be nice to see more pics of the inside.

I'm sure there is a lot more work that has to be done. I heard you had fun moving a shed this weekend. I found this pic and I thought I'd post it here for you. It was taken last May.
