Friday evening we, along with Cindi and Mark's family rented a vacation apartment on the Central Ohio Campgrounds. Then Saturday we visited the Hocking Hills of Ohio. These apartments are available for anyone vacationing in the area. The campgrounds is approximately 11 miles from the Hocking Hills. Here is a link to the conference center.

The Hocking Hills are the most visited site in Ohio, even above Amish Country.

Cindi and Mark took many pictures but Cindi is too busy to post any of her pictures. I don't know what Mark's problem is. Ha.

They both have better cameras than I have and are better photographers but I am posting a few pictures from our day. We visited Old Man's Cave and Ash Cave.

I uploaded the pictures and then went to another site for a second and I guess I lost them. Here they are again, I hope.

The first picture is the Hocking River. It runs right by the church campgrounds. Our RV Park is on the Hocking River.

Thanks very much! When we pastored at Athens this was my favorite time of year with the hills aflame with color. Awesome pics.

Vivian, I was not raised in Ohio. Do you know why "Old Mans Cave" is called that?
Loved the pictures.!!!

Two stories...

1. The side view of the cave supposedly looks like the profile of an old man. I can't see it.

2. A long time ago, an old man/recluse lived in the cave. This is the story I believe.
